Error message “Could not execute query” when using full text queries in Folio metadata search

Summary

Some full-text searches from Folio search may result in the following error:

Your full-text query results in the following error message: "Could not execute query (Could not parse response)".

This occurs especially when searching for full text content of documents. Exact identification of the behavior: A search for "ALL" in this field would yield correct results.

Solution

In this case you can disable the option "Enable Unparsed Term Series to Terms Transformer" in the advanced Index properties on the Mindbreeze Configuration Page as a workaround, then the search will work correctly again.
