SummaryPermanent link for this heading

The name of an object will not be shown in the title bar of a browser popup when an object has been opened with double clicking the object itself (e.g. file object, outgoing document,...).
Instead of that, the whole URL is shown.

This behaviour is based on the browser option "Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints" in Microsoft Internet Explorer. You can find this option on...

Tools->Internet Options->Security->"Your selected zone"->Custom Level->Miscellaneous->Allow script-initiated windows without size or position constraints.

SolutionPermanent link for this heading

For displaying the name of an object, you have to set this option to "enabled". If the affected site is listed in the zone "local Intranet" and the the standard configuration is set, this option is set by default. But if the affected site is listed in the zone "Trusted Sites" with the standard configuration set you have to explicitely set this option to "enabled".
