"Call was rejected by callee" on conversion server

Summary
The error message "Call was rejected by callee" is send to the Conversion server Event log and conversion of Microsoft Word documents stops working.
This article describes a possible issue that could lead to this error message.
Information
The error message "Call was rejected by callee" is returned to Fabasoft Folio by Microsoft Words OLE component. Microsoft Word OLE may stop working in the case that too many temporary files are located in a Microsoft Word temporary folder.
Fabasoft uses Microsoft OLE to open and handle Microsoft Word (and other Microsoft Office applications) without user interaction on the Fabasoft Folio Conversion servers. Microsoft Word creates temporary files that are deleted after processing. In the case that Microsoft Word stalls with a document that cannot be handled by Fabasoft Folio (for example a password protected document), Fabasoft Folio will kill the Microsoft Word process after a given timeout (default 60 seconds). Microsoft Word then will not delete the temporary file. If too many temporary files are stored, Microsoft Word rejects the processing with the error "call was rejected by callee".
Solution
Folio 2014 Spring Release (and above)
Fabasoft Folio will detect the temporary files folder of Microsoft Office and will automatically delete old, unneeded files on the conversion server.

The Microsoft Office temporary folder may be located at following paths:
- Office 2010

- Office 2013
C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\Content.Word
C:\Windows\System32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\INetCache\Content.MSO
Fabasoft recommends to clean-up this folder on a regular basis (for example by a Windows Scheduled Task on the weekend).
