Windows Event Logs
Event logs record events taking place in the execution of a system in order to provide an audit trail that can be used to understand the activity of the system and to diagnose problems.They are essential to understand the activities of complex systems.
Fabasoft Folio service specific information is written in the Application Log part of every Fabasoft Folio server which is usually the first location to diagnose possible issues with the environment.
To access Windows Event Logs please open the "Event Viewer" on the related system. The procedure is described in the following Microsoft article
Setup
- Log file: fscsetup.log
- Contains: Temporary logfile with Information about the Fabasoft Folio setup.
- Full path: "C:\Windows\Temp\fscsetup\fscsetup\fscsetup.log"
- Log file: loader.log
- Contains: Information about the Fabasoft Folio server loader.
- Full path: "C:\Program Files\Fabasoft\Components\Server\CooSrv\files\loader.log"
Fabasoft Folio Server Management
- Log file: coomgmt.log
- Contains: General Information related to Fabasoft Folio environment and Server Management tasks
- Full path: "C:\Program Files\Fabasoft\Components\Server\CooSrv\files\coomgmt.log"
- Log file: coomgmt.err
- Contains: Information related to Fabasoft Folio Server Management

Backend
- Log file: coo.err
- Contains: Information related to the COO Service on the designated port
- Full path: "C:\Program Files\Fabasoft\Components\Server\CooSrv\files\coo.err"

- Contains: Information related to the MMC Service on the designated port
